______

Veolia, the global leader in water technologies and environmental security, today announced the launch of two innovative water treatment technologies at the IFAT trade fair in Munich, Germany. The Hydrotech cloth filter Confidence series and the Ozonia S ozone generator represent a major leap forward in Veolia's mission to secure water resources for municipalities, industries and communities worldwide.

Water security: the defining challenge of our time

Access to clean, safe water is no longer a given. As water scarcity, pollution and aging infrastructure place increasing pressure on societies and economies, the need for reliable, high-performance water treatment has never been more urgent. Veolia's two new technologies address this challenge head-on, from advanced filtration to next-generation micropollutant removal and disinfection, delivering the water security that industries and communities depend on.

Ozonia® S ozone generator: smart, scalable, sustainable

Ozonia S is Veolia's most sustainable ozone generator ever, designed for water treatment in critical infrastructure including drinking water, micropollutant removal, and water reuse. Its intelligent modular architecture offers built-in redundancy for uninterrupted production and flexible expandability to meet growing demand, while onsite generation reduces risk to critical infrastructure in the face of global uncertainty. Modular components and advanced materials reduce wear and tear, simplify maintenance, decrease spare parts, and lower long-term operational costs.

Key innovations include:

  • Up to 25% reduced energy consumption through Veolia's proprietary Ozonia IGS+ technology.
  • Veolia's new Intelligent Air System+ (IAS+) for efficient ozone production from air.
  • A production turndown ratio of >100:1 and increased ozone pressure to maximize operational flexibility and save energy.

Hydrotech™ cloth filter Confidence series: filtration you can rely on

The Hydrotech cloth filter Confidence series is designed with an uncompromising focus on health, safety and operational reliability, delivering consistent high-level performance and predictable operating costs. Employing pile cloth media filtration technology, it achieves robust TSS reduction to < 5 mg/l and phosphorus reduction down to 0.1 mg/l, meeting tightening discharge regulations and protecting receiving water bodies.

Key innovations include:

  • Patented Wedged Hem Interchangeable Panel (WHIP) technology enabling 80% quicker panel removal and cleaning, with no lifting crane required.
  • Externally mounted maintenance components for safe, easy technician access and significantly reduced plant downtime.
  • Veolia Panel Leasing Offer — a first-of-its-kind model delivering fully predictable operating costs.

Discover the Hydrotech cloth filter Confidence series and the Ozonia S ozone generator demo units along with other state-of-the-art water treatment solutions, and meet Veolia's water technology experts at IFAT 2026 trade fair.
