Nitrogen and Phosphorus are nutrients that can be present in both municipal and industrial wastewater. High levels of nutrients can stimulate the growth of algae, causing eutrophication of surface waters where they are discharged, thus constituting a major environmental problem.
As a result, most countries in the world are changing their discharge regulations to restrict the discharge of nutrients to the water used for drinking or irrigation.
The objective of this webinar is to provide operating principles and characteristics of the equipment that Veolia Water Technologies can offer, as a solution for the control and removal of nutrients from wastewater.
