Mine sites have to deal with a variety of water sources such as underground water from mine operations and run-off from rain and snowfall melt. The water used in the mine water treatment process can be heavy in metals, leaching or particulates. In order to comply with stringent environmental regulations, metal concentrations must be removed from the mine water before discharge to the environment.
