Egypt EZZ STEEL - MOBILE WATER SERVICES Ezz Steel, a leading steel producer in the Middle East and Africa with a 7-million-ton annual production capacity, faced significant water management challenges in water-scarce Egypt. The company needed to transition from using Nile River water to a more sustainable solution for their cooling operations, while maintaining their production efficiency and environmental responsibility. We responded to our clients challenge by implementing a comprehensive mobile water solution in two phases, ultimately delivering a 16,000 m3/day capacity system comprising seven brackish water reverse osmosis systems and two ultrafiltration containerized units. This solution not only secured 100% of Ezz Steel's water production with improved quality but also achieved a 75% reduction in chemical consumption.
