**What is Precoat Filtration?** This type of technology utilizes filter aid to remove suspended solids down to 0.5 to 1-micron. Indeed, precoat filters have been used in **many chemical processing applications**, beer, wine, sugar, gelatin, sweeteners, and edible oil production. They are also widely used in the mining industry to polish cyanide leached solution used to **recover precious metals** in the Merrill-Crowe process. In this webinar, we will take a look at the advantages of precoat filtration while specifically discussing Whittier Auto-Jet and Filtra-Matic technology more in-depth.
