AQUAVISTA™ Plant is a holistic digital solution composed of a suite of intelligent software solutions for real-time optimization of process performance. It provides a state-of-the-art auto-pilot to optimize the whole wastewater system, including sewer network and treatment plant. At Nosedo WWTP, the objective of AQUAVISTA™ Plant is to optimize the energy and chemical consumption as well as increase the hydraulic capacity of the plant to handle higher flows during wet weather situations.

AQUAVISTA™ Plant focuses on real-time automated optimization of the consumption of energy and chemicals, biological and hydraulic capacity enhancement, stable operation, and compliance of wastewater treatment plants and sewer networks. It is suitable for small and large municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

"The main characteristics of Nosedo Plant is the big volume of water treated that is reused for agriculture; Nosedo WWTP is one of the best examples of water reuse in Europe. Our challenge is to guarantee every time the best condition for reusing water. AQUAVISTATM Plant will boost our performances by increasing the hydraulic capacity during wet weather. It is a smart solution with a high effect", explained Andrea Aliscioni, Chief Operating Officer, Milan Water Service, Metropolitana Milanese SpA.

Improved operation and quality, reduced operating costs

AQUAVISTA™ Plant is currently implemented across several countries with hundreds of wastewater treatment plants already connected and benefiting from 20 to 50% in overall OPEX savings, up to 40% more biological and up to 100% more hydraulic capacity, improved effluent quality from the wastewater treatment plant as well as a reduction of combined sewer overflows (CSOs).

AQUAVISTA™ Plant is part of AQUAVISTA™ Digital Services, a wide and flexible range of digital solutions that address the challenges faced by industries and municipalities, providing them added-value services.
