Biocide chemicals

Biocides and chemical range of products for microbial control in all water applications.
Hydrex 7000 Series

In water treatment, microbiological growth can cause damages such as corrosion, biofouling and formation of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and slime, all of which can reduce the plant’s global efficiency through unscheduled downtimes, reduced heat transfer and loss of production.
The Hydrex 7000 Series is a range of chemicals specifically formulated to protect assets from contaminants.

Efficient microbiological control agents

An essential challenge for water treatment plants and related systems, the use of chemicals  to control microbiological growth (algae, fungi, bacteria, protozoa, etc.) is subject to strict regulations. The objective is to ensure a high level of protection of the environment by approving only effective substances that do not present unacceptable risks.
Compliant with the most stringent local norms, our Hydrex 7000 range comprizes oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides with a broad spectrum of efficiency or targeted against a specific contaminant:

  • Rapid-action or delayed-action chemical products.
  • Continuous-action or shock treatment products.
  • OSG HydrexⓇ (On-site Generation): environmentally friendly technology based on salt hydrolysis to generate a biocidal solution in situ, avoiding chemical transportation and storage costs.

They are selected by Veolia experts for many applications :
