Veolia Water Technologies was responsible for the process design, build and commissioning of four Flue Gas Desulphurization Wastewater Treatment Plants (FGD WWTP) in all four Heat and Power Plants: Gdansk, Gdynia, Wroclaw and Krakow.

 

Project & Technology Solutions

The WWTPs technology is based on a traditional chemical precipitation for heavy metals reduction in coagulation, flocculation, and two-stage process of sedimentation. Sludge from waste water will be dewatered in a decanter centrifuge and a chamber filter press.

The wastewater treatment capacity is between 11 m3/h and 35 m3/h, depending on the location of the WWTP.
